An attorney, entrepreneur, and educator, Mr. Caplin has published over 200 titles of comic books and graphic novels; his own book "The Business of Art" is a three-time international Best Seller. He was honored as a Founding Faculty member of California State University’s high tech campus at Monterey Bay in the establishment of its telecommunications program. Most recently, he founded iSTAR, an immersive studio specializing in virtual reality filmmaking, based at the Communications College of Florida International University in Miami.
Mr. Caplin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia Law School, where he served as an Editor of the Virginia Law Review.
Travis Cloyd is an award winning producer and visionary tech entrepreneur. He is the inaugural Futurist in Residence and the Director of iSTAR (Immersive Studio for Altered Reality) at Florida International University. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America and also the CEO of Worldwide XR based in Los Angeles, CA, producing experiences, films, and branded campaigns based on celebrity digital rights.
Futurist Cloyd has created XR content for major international studios, iconic brands, legendary actors, global musicians, top athletes and historical figures. He is breaking new ground leading the industry in creating and protecting virtual human IP content based on historical figures for all facets of the diverse XR ecosystem.
